Is Now a Good time to Buy? As you can see from the number of new escrows in the statistical data, there are still a lot of buyers out there and I can tell you, they are getting some killer deals! For instance, I know of a newer home with 3,000 sq. ft. that sold two years ago for $680,000. and in November it closed at $527,000.00 Another one that has not happened yet is the house in the Featured Listings page. I had an offer for it a little more than a year ago for $699,000.00 the seller countered and the buyers walked. Against my advice, they decided to rent it for a couple of years and try again. Two bad sets of tenants and thousands of $ in repairs later, it´s yours for just $559,000.00 (repairs are already complete).
